August Financial Consulting is based on the wisdom attained from a lifetime of learning by my father and mother. My father was 80 years old when he passed away. Looking back, I now realize our time together was just a blink of an eye.
Both of my parents taught me to love life and to respect people. My father, Augie, filled his life with love for my mother and siblings, treating people with respect, enjoying time with family and taking on challenges and experiences as they come.
He taught us what it meant to enjoy life, no matter your age. Now, our job at August Financial Consulting is to make the planning process easy and enjoyable, so others can enjoy life too—just like mom and dad did.
Meet Alan
Alan Stricker is the Owner & President of August Financial Consulting. With over 25 years of experience, he’s dedicated to helping his clients reach their financial goals before and after retirement.
Alan and his wife, Denise, have two sons, Cameron and Elliot, and currently reside in Deephaven, Minnesota. Outside of the office, Alan and his family enjoy playing or watching sports, trying new restaurants or cruising around Lake Minnetonka. Family time is precious and Alan works to savor every minute.
In addition to being an investment advisor representative, Alan is a current member and past President of the Lake Minnetonka Excelsior Rotary Club.
